- Payment of Account
- Michael J Walsh Funeral Directors operates in compliance with all national regulatory bodies with our pricing policy. Our pricing list aims to provide customers with full, detailed information regarding the charges, however should any further information be required, this can be provided at any time. In addition to our charges, there may be disbursements made to payable to Crematoria, Cemeteries, Doctors, Clergy, Celebrants, Organists, Newspapers etc. These fees are payable before the funeral takes place. Upon making the funeral arrangements, or as soon as possible afterwards, you will be given an estimate of all charges and disbursements incurred.
Accounts are payable 7 days from the date of invoice. Accounts are able to be settled via BACS, debit/credit card, cheque or cash. All accounts will be settled with a receipt/invoice upon request. We reserve the right to incur a late payment fee of £75 for failure to pay on time. All cost incurred in recovering and outstanding account are chargeable to the debtor.
- Right to Cancel
- Funeral arrangements that have been made in a customer's home reserve the right to be cancelled upon request to us. This request can should be exercised by providing us with a letter of cancellation at any time within a seven-day period, starting the day of the funeral arrangement. Where applicable, payments are to be made in respect of any services carried out, or disbursements paid out, between the arrangement of the funeral and the cancellation letter being received. Payments for these services and/or disbursements are required prior to the release of the deceased from our care to a third party.
